Illustration and short guidance for woolen knitwear lovers.
Black marker drawings, digitally reworked and colored.
QUALITY All our sweaters are handmade, from knitting to finishing. We use 100% Merinos Wool from Italy. Merino sheep are regarded as having some of the finest and softest wool of any sheep. In order to maintain the softness of your woolen sweater or any other woolen item, it's important to read the following instructions carefully. It will make your sweater look good for many years to follow.
WASHING Wash your woolen sweater preferably by hand with a gentle detergent. Use any soap that says “wool safe.” It's also possible to wash your woolen items in the washing machine. Make sure to use the wool-wash-program at MAX 30°C. Do not use fabric softeners.
DRYING Always dry wool by laying it flat. Never hang it to dry. You can lay your sweater on a drying rack or on a table on top of a large towel. Allow 2-3 days for drying.
IRONING Sometimes your sweater will need some ironing. You should press your woolen sweater with a little steam at LOW TEMPERATURE. Never iron wool fabric dry. Press the inside of the wool (not the outside !) to avoid surface shine. Preferably use a pressing cloth or damp cotton towel to protect your sweater.
